-Its Raw Material; E-Glass Fiber Continuous Filaments
E-Glass fiber is valued as an excellent insulation material by its advantages shown as below. This material has few Alkali components
so that it is stable at high temperature and its electrical conduction is low. Since 1930 the material has been used as a plastic reinforcing
agent and components of electronics and airplane with its absolute electric insulation.
In recent years, non combustible Insulation, sound-absorption performance of the material is proved so that it is widely applied in shippbuilding, automobile and especially construction requiring sound proof.
-Its Material ; FELT ( E-Glass Fiber Needle Mat)
E-Glass fiber is basically formed in slab type and laminated to be united itself. As this procedure, E-glass fiber is made into mat type of
sound-absorption insulation with high flexibility, porosity of its material. Mat made of E-glass fiber is pressed and pricked with Needle
Punching machine and then it become felt.
In terms of heat-resistance, its heat resistance can be performed up to 750℃ due to the mechanical needle punching method instead
of using adhesive.
